Scissor and Boom Elevated Platform training
Training and assessment for operators of powered access equipment at work.
Consists of pre-course question session, IPAF associated knowledge session for safe operation of the machine type and Health and safety regulations PUWER, LOLER etc. A written assessment followed by a practical operation assessment.
Maximum 4 candidates per session if training on TWO categories or 6 per day if ONE category

Duration - Experienced operatives 1-2 days novice up to 10 days

Lorry Loader (HIAB) Training or Assessment
Training and assessment for operators of vehicle mounted cranes at work.
Consists of pre-course question session, associated knowledge session for safe operation of the machine type and Health and safety regulations including PUWER LOLER etc. A written assessment followed by a practical operation assessment. Maximum 4 candidates per session
Duration - Experienced operatives 1-2 days novice up to 5 days

Forklift Operation Training or Assessment

Loading and Securing Mobile Plant to Vehicles
Training and assessment for drivers of vehicles needing to transport mobile plant at work.
Consists of pre-course question session,associated knowledge session for safe operation of the machine types and Health and safety regulations PUWER, LOLER etc. a written assessment followed by a practical operation loading assessment.
Maximum 6 candidates per session
Duration - Experienced operatives 1-2 days novice up to 5 days
Type / Categories - Wheeled & tracked plant / roller / plant trailer
Certification - accredited IPAF card and certificate
Training and assessment for persons appointed to control the movement of vehicles and plant at work. Consists of pre-course question session, associated knowledge session for safe operation of the machine types and Health and safety regulations PUWER, LOLER, HSE signals and signs etc. Written assessment paper followed by a practical operation and control assessment recorded on a further assessment paper.
Maximum 6 candidates per session
Duration - Experienced - half day / new operatives 1 day

CDP have been involved with the plant and hire industry since the start due to our years of experience working and training for both national and independent plant companies.The operations in the plant supply and hire industry and varying jobs skills of the people involved often means that ‘off the shelf’ general training will not always work, CDP will deliver training using ‘real world’ examples gained from construction and plant industry experience.
